Cash Deposits
Introduction
Cash deposits let you onramp local currency without a standing account
number. Unlike a virtual account number,
which is a reusable, standing bank account number, a cash deposit generates a
single-use, disposable account number per transaction — once the payment
completes, that account number is no longer valid.
The trade-off is precision: because each cash deposit is tied to exactly one
transaction, the conversion rate is locked in ahead of time via a quote,
rather than applied at the moment of an incoming transfer.
